TheNationalCouncilfor Cementand Building Materials,(NCCBM)anapexnational body,is devoted to technology generation & research, education and consultancy services for the cement and allied building materials industries. Its activities cover the entire spectrum starting with geology of raw materials through the processes, the machinery, the manufacturing aspects to the final utilization of thematerials inactualconstructionsandarefocusedon in-houseprogrammed R&Dprojects,which arepursued keeping inviewtheneedoftheentire industry andsponsoredR&Dprojectsand industrial support services to individual industrial units on specific requests.

TheDirectorGeneralistheChiefExecutiveofthe Councilandwould beresponsible among others for realizing NCCBM'svision to be a preferred technology partner to cement and construction sectors in the sustainable development of a better infrastructure and housing.

Qualification: A. first Class Master's Degree in Engineering or Ph.D. in Chemical/ Ceramic/ Civil/Mechanical/Electricall Instrumentation/Mathematics & Computing/ Production/Industrial /Energy I EnvironmenVQuality Management.

Or

Ph.D.inChemistry/Geology/Physics/Material Science. Experience: 20YearsexperienceinGovernment/ Public I PrivateSector/ Scientific orResearch& Development Institutions or in a University of which a minimum of 5 years should be in leadership positions in organization of repute, such as Head of Production / Engineering/Quality~Technicalservices/ Professor&HeadofDepartmentina Scientific or an R&D organisation or a University in the field of Engineering 1 Manufacturing/Research/Civil/Construction orBuildingMaterials.

• Preference would be given to candidates having R&D experience in areas of relevance with the activities of NCCBM.

Pay Allowances and Facilities: The post carries the Pay Scale of Rs. 37400-67000 with a grade pay-of Rs. 10,0001-(pre-revised scale) plus DA, HRA, CCA asadmissible to Central Government Employees, Conveyance facilities and other perks as per the rules of the Council.
