A postgraduate degree from a recognized University in psychology.

b) Atleast 2 years field experience in psycho-social areas of child rights.

To render counseling to child complainant in the Commission/on the spot visit as and when required; ii To study and prepare reports on various service deliverance mechanisms in counseling both public & private;

III To maintain and update a list of all such service providers in NCR and obtain information from other important centres in States through State Social Welfare/ Child Welfare Departments;

iv To examine all factors that inhibit the enjoyment of psycho-social rights of children in contact with law, children in need and care protection, children without parental care in the institutional settings;

v To prepare reports on the time bound action plan/work plan and facilitate inspection of Juvenile homes/children homes through SCPCRs, other agencies and experts as the case may be in assessment of psycho-social requirements of such children;

VI To set measurable / quantifiable targets for self as well as for all staff working under him/her and ensure timely achievement; VII To prepare research proposals concerning Child Psychology/Sociology and related areas under the guidance of Member concerned;

viii To prepare periodic/annual report on the subject as required under CPCR;

ix To assist the Expert/Working Group/Committee that may be constituted by NCPCR on the issues relating to Child Psychology or Sociology, including its meetings, minutes and correspondence;

(5) Remuneration Range:

Rs. 50,000/-to 60,000/-per month

(6) Terms and Conditions:

i The incumbent will be provided remuneration as agreed to subject to deduction of TDS
as per rules applicable from time to time:
11 TA/DA will be paid for the outstation official visits undertaken as per the rules applicable
from time to time;
iii Conveyance will be provided for field visits as per applicable rules;
iv Leave will be given in accordance with the Leave Policy of the Commission;
v The incumbent may be asked to attend the office on Saturdays / Sundays / Gazetted
HoI idays in case of exigencies of work, for which compensatory leave as per the Leave

x The incumbent is required to properly handover the charge of all documents, files etc handled by him/her to a designated official before quitting NCPCR;
