ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project entitled Electronic and Spintronic Properties of Halogen Functionalized Graphene Nanoribbons funded by DST SERB, Government of India, under the supervision of Dr. Neeraj K. Jaiswal, Principal Investigator, Discipline of Physics, PDPM-IIITDM Jabalpur. The details are given below:

Name of the available post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of available positions: 01 (One)

Essential qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Nanotechnology/ Materials Science/Electronics or relevant subjects.

M.Sc. candidates should have a valid NET (JRF)/GATE score.

Desirable qualifications: Candidate having Ist div. in M.Sc. (or equivalent CGPA in M.Tech.) and strong background of Solid State Physics/Electronics will be preferred.

Age limit: Preferably below 28 years as on Dec. 02, 2015.

Salary: Rs. 25000/- per month (for first two years)

Rs. 28000/- per month (after two years)

General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of two years or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. The position is coterminous with the project. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular Ph.D program of the Institute provided satisfying the eligibility criteria for Ph.D program in the Discipline of Physics.
