Project Vacancy

Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project, funded by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under Science and Engineering-Engineering Scheme, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The details are as follows:

Title of the Project: Development of Additive-Subtractive Integrated RP System for Improved Part Quality

Project duration: Three years

Qualification and Remuneration: M. Tech. in relevant discipline preferably in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of CAD and Rapid Prototyping software, CNC machining, knowledge of controller with good programming skill is essential.

Consolidated Rs. 18,000/- per month for first two years then 20,000/- per month

(Pay likely to be revised as Rs. 25,000/- per month)

Candidates with B. Tech. degree in relevant discipline preferably in Mechanical Engineering with exceptional Skill/Knowledge of CAD and Rapid Prototyping software, CNC Machining, computer programming can also apply, however candidates with B. Tech. Degree may be offered consolidated Rs. 16,000/- per month.

Initially JRF position will be offered for one year and extendable up to the duration of the project.

Tentative date for Interview: April 29, 2016

Interview may be scheduled during last week of April, 2016.
