Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from highly motivated Indian nationals for the position of a Junior Research Fellow to work on Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi sponsored research project (Project code: UFR-62345) entitled Radiation Effects in Gallium Oxide. The details of position and minimum qualifications are as follows.

Name of the available post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of available positions: 01 (One)

Duration: 1 Years (extendable by maximum 2 years or till the completion of the project based on satisfactory performance).

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Physics/Applied Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience /Nanotechnology or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks. NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Stipend: INR 16000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with NET/GATE, and INR 14000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates without NET/GATE.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates are required to bring all documents and experience certificates in original for verification.

2. The position is purely contractual for the said project period.

3. Selected candidate will perform experimental research based on thin film deposition, ion implantation/irradiation, and will also be responsible for analysis and dissemination of the obtained results.
