Applications are invited for post of Lady Resident Matron at VJTI Hostels

VJTI is an engineering college at Matunga, Mumbai with a hostel accommodation of 105 girls at old hostel i.e. Block A and 195 girls at new hostel i.e. Block E.

Applications are invited on plain paper giving all details of qualifications and experience for post of lady resident matron at VJTI Hostels. The incumbent is required to be resident at VJTI girls hostel, where unfurnished single room accommodation will be allotted. The incumbent will keep a general watch over students and all their activities including taking daily night rounds. She will look after medical needs of all girl students including dealing with all types of medical emergencies and arrange for transport to a hospital in a medical emergency . She will exercise superintendence over class IV workers which belong to girl's hostel and looking after general hostel cleanliness and hygiene. She will take instructions and report to Director, Principal Rector and Rector Girls Hostel. She is required to have good command over English and Hindi languages.

Qualifications: XII standard pass minimum, preferably a graduate in any discipline.

Remuneration: Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 gross consolidated, dependent on relevant experience of managing hostels .

Tenure: Initially for a period of one year, extendible further.
