Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in the research project titled Development of Adaptive Double Sided Incremental Forming Process for Dieless Manufacturing funded by IMPRINT-India, Government of India, under the supervision of Prof. Puneet Tandon, Principal Investigator, Mechanical Engineering, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur. The details are given below:

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) - One

Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) - One

Essential Qualifications

For JRF: ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering (candidate with BE/BTech with Qualified GATE Score may also be considered). Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference.

For SRF: ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering (candidate with BE/BTech with Qualified GATE Score may also be considered) and with minimum two years of research experience in relevant field. Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference.

Desirables: Candidate having knowledge of metal forming, Computer Aided Design, Advanced Manufacturing, Instrumentation, Vibration, Solid Mechanics and Wave Propagation, etc. will be preferred.

Age limit: Preferably below 30 years as on June 20, 2017.

Salary

For JRF: Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month.

For SRF: Rs. 28,000/- per month.

General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three year or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular/part-time PhD programme in our institute provided satisfying the eligibility criteria for PhD programme. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

Selection Procedure: Written Test and / or Interview.

The list of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be displayed on the Institute website by June 30, 2017 (or earlier). No other communication in this regard will be entertained. The tentative schedule of interview is July first week. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
