Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in the research project titled Development of Adaptive Double Sided Incremental Forming Process for Dieless Manufacturing funded by IMPRINT-India, Government of India, under the supervision of Prof. Puneet Tandon, Principal Investigator, Mechanical Engineering, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur. The details are given below:

Name of available posts and positions:

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) - One

Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) - One

Essential Qualifications:

For JRF: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering (preferably ME/MTech in related discipline). Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference.

For SRF: BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (preferably ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering) and with minimum two years of research experience in relevant field. Candidates having good academic and research background will be given preference.

Desirables: Candidate having knowledge of metal forming, Computer Aided Design, advanced manufacturing, Instrumentation, etc. will be preferred.

Age limit: Preferably below 30 years as on March 20, 2017.

Salary:

For JRF: Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month.

For SRF: Rs. 28,000/- per month.

General Terms and Conditions: The position is purely temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three year or till the completion of project whichever is earlier. Candidates selected for this position can also apply for the regular/part-time PhD programme in our institute provided satisfying the eligibility criteria for PhD programme. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets must be presented at the time of interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communication in this regard will be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
