Advertisement for the Post of Research Fellow (On Contract)

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Project/Research Fellow (JPF/JRF) (on contract) in research project entitled Studies on Nanoparticles Decoration in Supercritical Fluid to Improve the Sorption Behavior of Most Promising Storage Material e.g. Mg under INSPIRE Faculty research grant sanction order no. IFA-12-PH-43 sponsored by DST-INSA, GOI, New Delhi. The envelope should be super scribed as Application for the post of Junior Research/Project Fellow (on contract) in the project INSPIRE Faculty program (IFA-12 PH-43). The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the funding agency rules & service conditions of Office of the Dean (Research & Consultancy), MNNIT Allahabad. Number of Position : 1 (One) Essential Qualifications: Must have M. Sc. in Physics/Materials Science or relevant discipline. Desirable Experience: (i) M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Solid State Physics, with NET and valid GATE Score, (ii) M.Tech degree in area of Materials Science/Nanotechnology, (iii)M. Sc. with 75% marks or >

8.0 CGPA will be given preference, (iv) Preference will be given to those candidates having research experience. Fellowship :

Rs.12,000/-plus HRA per month as JPF as per rule for the first two years and Rs. 14,000/plus HRA per month as per rule for third year as SPF. If the selected candidate is NET/GATE qualified then JRF emolument shall be Rs.16,000/- plus HRA per month as per rule for the first two years and Rs.18,000/- plus HRA per month as per rule for third year as SRF. Other Benefits: Accommodation may be available as per the availability and the Institute norms. Eligible candidate may be entitled to register for PhD Program of the Institute. Facility of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per the applicable rules for project staff. Age Limit : 28 years on the last date of application (The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates) Tenure of Appointment : 3 years or project duration whichever is earlier. Note: (i) No TA/DA will be paid for their appearing in the interview.

(iii) Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be called for interview.
