1. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.
   
   
2. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the Instructions.
   
   

I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE

1. Assistant Lecturer in Physiology // 1 post Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5400/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10) Age: Not exceeding 45 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:-Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

II. GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

2. Lecturers:

(i)

Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics // 1 post

(ii)

Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry // 1 post Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5400/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10) Age: Not exceeding 45 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:-Essential (i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

III. DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION

3. Assistant Director of Education // 3 posts [1 resvd for PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped-One Leg/One Arm)] Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+7,600/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 12) Age: Not exceeding 45 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: (i) At least 2^nd lass Masters Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Degree in Teaching/Education of a recognised University or equivalent. (iii) 10 years teaching experience in a High School/Higher Secondary School or a Teachers Training Institution including at least 3 years experience in a responsible administrative capacity. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Marathi. (ii) Experience as Principal of Higher Secondary School.

IV. INSPECTORATE OF FACTORIES AND BOILERS

4. Chemist // 1 post Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/-(pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 6) Age: Not exceeding 45 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:- Essential: (i) Masters Degree in !nalytical hemistry/Physical hemistry/Inorganic hemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) 2 years experience in the field of industrial hygiene and allied matters. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

V. GOA COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE

5. Principal // 1 post Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000+10,000/-(pre-revised)

(As per revised pay matrix level 14 + Special Allowance of Rs. 3000 per month) Age: Not exceeding 50 years. Educational & Other Qualifications:-Essential: (i) Bachelors and Masters Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent, either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Ph. D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (iii) Minimum of 10 years experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, out of which, at least 3 years should be at the level of Professor. OR (iii) Minimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and/or Research and/or Industry.

Note: (1) In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/Intellectual Property Rights/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Professor level with active participation record in devising/designing, developing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training technical books/research paper publications/Intellectual Property Rights/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection Committee. Note: (2) In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 10 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Post Ph. D publications and shall have guided Ph. D students. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi. *********************************************************************************************************************

The Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) for the posts of Commercial Tax Officer in the Office of the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Advertisement No. 9 Year 2017) is fixed on 26.11.2017.
