Reference DRDO/RAC Advt No. 122 published in Employment News 10-16 Sep 2016 and also posted on RAC website (http://rac.gov.in ) as well as DRDO website (http://drdo.gov.in ) for the recruitment of 18 posts of Scientist `B in DRDO.

Due to availability of additional vacancies in subject/discipline of `Psychology and administrative reasons, the following amendments are hereby made in the above referred Advertisement-

Note: The vacancy in `Physics is for Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. The vacancies in the subject / discipline of Psychology are for Service Selection Boards (SSBs) and Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

(i) Online Registration and submission of applications for candidates will remain open on RAC website http://rac.gov.in from 18 Mar 2017 (1700 hrs IST) to 07 Apr 2017 (1700 hrs IST).

(ii) For Item No 4 (Physics), fresh applications are invited and the candidates will be required to register online. Those candidates who are in possession of valid GATE Score (2015/2016/2017) and Essential Qualification on the last date of online application will be eligible.

(iii) For Item No 6 (Psychology), the candidates who have already registered and applied successfully under Advt No. 122 need not register/apply again. However, if required by them, such candidates may edit their applications and upload documents till the last date of online submission. Fresh candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may also apply online.

(iv) Other Eligibility Criteria, Overall Requirements, Terms & Conditions and Selection Process already advertised vide Advt No.122 will remain the same. As the above items belong to the subjects/disciplines listed under Part-I and Part-II in Advt No. 122, all the requirements mentioned for Part-I and Part-II in Advt No.122 will remain applicable for these items. For details, please refer to Advt No. 122 on RAC website http://rac.gov.in .

(v) Revised Schedule (tentative) of Personal Interviews for vacancies in the subjects of Psychology and Physics: Last week of May 2017 onwards.
