The S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences invites applications for the following JRF

position in Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project titled Study of E.coli chemotaxis at the single cell level: a statistical physics approach.

PI: Dr. Sakuntala Chatterjee, Department of Theoretical Sciences, S. N. Bose National Centre for

Basic Sciences, Kolkata.

Junior Research Fellow (1 position)

Fellowship Rs. 25000/- p.m. + HRA (as per rules).

Essential qualification M. Sc. in physics (with good academic records).

Desirable qualification NET /GATE qualification.

Duration one year (can be extended for at least one more year, if the performance is satisfactory)

Deadline of application - December 31, 2017
