Qualifications Essential: (i) Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences.

Duties:

(i)

To administer and coordinate research and functioning of the different Divisions of the Institutes and its Research Station.

	and demonstration programme of the Council in their respective zone.
(iii)	To	initiate,	plan,	coordinate	and	execute		the	extension	research	to		SUppOlt	and	improve
	technology di ssemination system.
(iv)	To link KVK efforts to strengthen extension approaches viz. Consortium, convergence, public
	private pal1nership, farmer-led and Market-led extension in the zone.
(v)	To dovetail technology applicati on						programmes by coordinating and					fo stering linkages with
	tech nology generation and delivery system and other stakeholders of agriculture development in
	the zone.
(vi)	To serve as a feedback mechanism for Technology Generation System.
(vii )	To make periodical reports to the Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension), ICAR on
	work plan, progress and evaluation.
