Application are invited from Indian nationals for for the post of Junior Research Fellow (On Contract) in research project entitled Role of Graphene and MoS2 on Performance of Surface face Plasmon Resonance Based Sensors: An Application cation to Biosensing sanction order no. 34/14/10/2017-BRNS/34285 dated 01/08/2017 /2017 sponsored by Department of Atomic Energy (DAE),(DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Mumbai. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the funding agency rules & service conditions of office of the Dean Dean (research & Consultancy), MNNIT Allahabad. Number of Position: 1 (One) Essential Qualifications :

  1. M. Tech. or M.E. degree in Electronics andand Communication Engineering with first division/cla on/class with specialization/expertise in Fabrication of thin film, synthesis of nanomaterialterials, plasmonic sensing or in any such related area, wit ea, with relevant publication,
  2. B. Tech. /M. Sc. degree in Electronics with firs with first division.
Desirable Skill :
  1. Candidates should have cleared GATE at a E at any period of time.
  2. It is highly desirable that the candidates have have basic knowledge of photonic devices, nano-electronlectronics and nano-photonics, etc. and research experience in modelling and simula simulation of photonic devices.
  3. Knowledge of simulation software, like MAT e MATLAB (programming), COMSOL Multiphysics etc., are hig are highly desirable.

Fellowship: Rs. 25000.00 per month (consolidated) ated) + HRA (as per norms) Other Benefits: Accommodation may be available able as per the availability and the Institute norms. Candid Candidates having GATE and CPI 6.5 0r 60% marks in M.Tech and CPI 8.0 or 75% marks marks in M.Sc. may be eligible to register for Ph.D. program of of the institute. Facility of early leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be ava available as per applicable rules of the project staff. Age Limit: 28 years on the last date of applicatiotion (The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates). Tenure of Appointment : Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the e ll the end of project.
