Advertisement for WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Assistant (PA) (in Applied Chemistry Department)

Candidates meeting the following requirements and desiring to be considered for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Assistant (PA) with a fellowship/fixed amount of Rs.25,000/-per month & applicable HRA for JRF and Rs.14,000/-per month & applicable HRA for Project Assistant in a DST-SERB project entitled Designing of Green Synthetic Approaches for Atomically Precise Nanoclusters for Dictating their Specific Interactions: Development of Miniaturized Analytical Methods (EMR/2016/002621, dated 20.07.2017) sanctioned up to initially for one year & extendable up to 3 years. The interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with all their original certificates, marks sheets with a self-attested photo copy of each of it and a recent passport size photograph along with Biodata, as per the date and time given below.

Educational Qualification

The candidates seeking selection as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant (PA) must possess M.Sc. in Chemistry or any other specialization in Chemistry from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. For JRF, candidates should have NET/valid GATE score card. Project employees may be allowed to register for Ph.D. programme of SVNIT provided they fulfil all the requirements prescribed by SVNIT.

Age Limit

The upper Age limit is 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).

The above mentioned post is NOT an employment and nor a job at SVNIT. It is a research Fellowship/Assistantship given to execute the sponsored Research Project in specific time period.
