Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- for all the teaching and non-teaching posts

The Registration fee should be paid by way of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam payable at Visakhapatnam and should be attached alongwith the application form. Registration fee will not be refundable.

Note: Candidates applying for more than one post should apply in separate application for each post along with the fee prescribed.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Candidates should apply in the prescribed application form which can be downloaded from the University website www.dsnlu.ac.in along with application fee and the same should be sent to the Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Plot No-116, Sector-11, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam-530017(A.P), India.

2. Application is to be submitted in 8 sets.

3. The candidate should superscribe on the cover for the post to which he/she applied.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her for being called for interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed; or by any other condition that it may deem fit. No correspondence will be entertained with applicants who are not short-listed.

2. Every effort would be made by DSNLU to recruit Women candidates against the slot earmarked for them in the running roster. But, however, wherever it is not feasible or desirable to recruit Women candidates, the DSNLU will have the liberty to recruit male candidate(s) and the next relevant slot will be reserved for Women.

3. The candidate applying for the post of Assistant Professor in Law shall not exceed the age of 35 Years (For SC/ST/BC and Women, the upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years)

4. The candidates appointed to the above posts will be governed by the Contributory Pension Scheme of Government of Andhra Pradesh as applicable to the University.

5. It would be open to the University to consider the names of suitable persons who may not have applied, but recommended by experts in their respective fields.

6. The University will have the right to relax any of the qualifications, experience etc.

7. The University may offer lower post to a candidate who may have applied for a higher post in case suitable candidates are not available for the advertised posts.

8. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such a candidate.

9. The Selection Committee may decide its own method of evaluating the performance of the candidates in interview. The University may utilize written test / skill test or seminar / colloquium as method of selection.

10. Incomplete and late applications in any respect shall not be considered at all.

11. No interim queries regarding test / interview / selection will be entertained.

12. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of the post(s) without giving any reason whatsoever.

13. University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage.

14. The applicants are advised to note that the appointment is not confined to Visakhapatnam only and his/her services will be utilized in any other place in future falling within the jurisdiction of the University from time to time.
