Subject: Recruitment of One Junior Project Fellow (JPF) - Walk-in-Interview under the Project entitled, "Study of students' difficulties in conceptual understanding of Science at Secondary Stage" (PAC code 6.01)

The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics(DESM), NCERT will hold a Walk-in-Interview to recruit one Junior Project Fellow on contractualbasis. The interview will be held on 6th June, 2017 at 10.30 AM. in the, Room No. 2, 1st Floor Janaki Ammal Khand, DESM, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016. The terms and conditions of the fellowship are as follows:

Qualifications

a) Essential

Master's degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics with at least 55% marks for general category (50% marks in the case of SC/ST/PH).

b) Desirable

S.hould b' e proficient in installation and use of MS- Office (or similar tool), open source software for

educational purpose, including Geogebra. Should be comfortable working in Linux Operating System.

Age Limit

Below 40 years as per UGC guidelines

Tenure of Fellowship

(Eight Months) from the date of joining

Fellowship amount

Rs.16,000/-p.m. consolidated (NET Qualified) and

Rs.14,000/- p.rn. consolidated (Non-NET)

The candidates should report at 09.30A.M. on 06.06.2017 REGISTRATION will be closed at 11.00 A.M.

NOTE

  1. The candidates should bring their original certificates alongwith bio-dataat the time of interview.

  2. Fellowship is temporary with no provision of increment in the amount.

  3. The candidates already in job should forward their application through their employer.

  4. No TA/DA is admissible for atte'nding the interview or joining the post.

  5. The Junior Project Fellow who has already worked in the Council for two and half years are not eligible for the post.
