Applications for Ph.D. Programme of AcSIR January 2017 Session CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates. Eligibility: Ph.D. (Science): Master degree in Physical Sciences, preferably Geo-physics, Geology, Physics and Mathematics, having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DST), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships. Note: CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onward/ Existing Research Fellows/ Project Assistants (working at CSIR labs for a minimum of one year) who fulfil the qualifications are also eligible to apply. Selection Process: All applications received through AcSIR will be screened by a committee and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at CSIR-NGRI.
