CIRCULAR

Subject: FillingupthetwopostsofJointDirectorinAdministrativeCadrein the Pay Matrix Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200) in National Informatics Centre (NIC)on deputation basis.

Itisproposed tofillup twoposts ofJoint DirectorinAdministrativeCadrein the Pay Matrix Level-12 (Rs. 78800-209200) in National Informatics Centre on deputation basis.

2. TheeligibilitycriteriaalongwithotherdetailsofpostaregiveninAnnexure-

I. The period of deputation will be one year in the first instance which can be further extended as per Government of India instructions on the subject. The persons selected will be entitled to draw pay in accordance with existing rules of Government ofIndia.

  1. Applicationsofeligibleandwilling-persons,whocanbesparedimmediately, may be forwarded through proper channel in the prescribed format (Annexure-II)to the undersigned at the above mentioned address within 45 days from the date of publication ofthis advertisement inthe EmploymentNews. Theapplication should alsobeaccompanied byphotocopiesofAPARs/ACRsforthe last fiveyears duly attestedbyanofficernotbelowtherankofUnderSecretaryorequivalent. While forwarding the applications, it may please be certified that the particulars furnished by the officer(s)are correct and that no disciplinary or vigilance case is either pending orcontemplated against the officer. Theintegrityofthe officermay alsobecertifiedbyanofficeroftherank ofUnderSecretaryorequivalentasper Annexure-Ill. It may also be confirmed that in the event of selection the officer concernedwillberelievedofhis/her duties.
  2. Applications which are incomplete or not accompanied with the photocopies ofAPARs/ACRsforthelastfiveyearsandotherrelevantdocuments insupport of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. will not be entertained and no correspondencewillbemadeor entertained inthisregard.

5. Eligibility Officer of Ministry / Department of
Central Government:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the present cadre or
department.
(ii) Deputy Director or equivalent in Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs. 67700-
208700) with five years regular service in the grade.
(The Departmental Officers who are in the direct line of promotion shall
not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation).
Note -1 : Period of deputation including period of deputation in another
ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or
other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall
ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note -2 : The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation shall
not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
