SELECTION PROCESS FROM AMONGST EX-APPRENTICES OF GUJARAT REFINERY ONLY

Gujarat Refinery, the flagship refinery of IndianOil invites applications from candidates who have successfully completed their Apprenticeship Training from Gujarat Refinery only in the relevant trade/discipline under Apprentices Act, 1961/ Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 for the following posts in the non-executives cadre in Grade IV in the Pay scale of Rs. 11,900 32,000/- (Pre-revised).

Age Limit (As on 31/12/2017) - Minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years (Relaxation in age by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates). Additional relaxation of 10 years for PwBD candidates for the reserved and identified posts. Age relaxation to the extent of Apprenticeship Training completed at Gujarat Refinery shall also be given to candidates of all categories, in addition to age relaxation otherwise applicable for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

Candidates who meet the above prescribed age criteria are advised to report for Selection Process comprising of Written Test and Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test on the following date and venue:

i. Only those candidates who have successfully completed their Apprenticeship Training from Gujarat Refinery and are eligible in terms of age criteria as specified above are required to appear on the above time, date & venue with Originals & attested photocopies of all mark sheets of the qualifications from SSC onwards.

ii. Apprenticeship Certificate in relevant trade issued by Gujarat Refinery Training Centre, Latest Caste Certificate in such prescribed proforma applicable, Proof of Age (Matriculation mark sheet/Birth certificate), two passport size color photographs and any other relevant documents & certificates.

iii. Candidates shall also be required to furnish & maintain Mobile No. & E-mail Id for the purpose of this selection process.

iv. All the above notified vacancies involve working in operations and maintenance activities in Plant area. Petroleum Refining is considered as complex and hazardous process. Hence, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates are not allowed for post code 1001 and 1003 which operate in rotating shifts.

v. Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as BE or equivalent, MBA or equivalent, or MCA or CA/CS/ICWA shall not be considered. Suppression of information regarding possession or pursuing higher qualification shall render a candidate ineligible for consideration at any stage of selection and termination at any time during employment, if recruited.

vi. The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to consequent verification of certificates/ testimonials. At any stage of the selection process, if it is found that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information or suppressed any factual information at any stage of recruitment process, then the candidature of the candidate is liable to be cancelled.

Note:

a) Candidates not successful in completing their Apprenticeship Training from Gujarat Refinery or not meeting the prescribed age criteria are advised NOT to appear for the Selection Process.

b) Only those candidates who remain present for the document verification and who are found prima facie eligible for the above mentioned posts on the basis of the documents submitted will be allowed to appear in the Selection Process.
