ADVERTISEMENT

Applications in prescribed form are invited from the citizens of India for filling up of 1 (one) post of Law Officer-Cum-Junior Draftsman, Group-A (Gazetted) Non-Ministerial under Law and Judicial Department, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, carrying a scale of pay of P.B-3 Rs.15600-39100/+Rs.5400/-(Grade Matrix-56100, Level 10) and other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Praeesh Govt. Employees from time to time. The lone post is unreserved (open competition). The vacancy position is subject to variation.

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICAT ION:- Candidates applying for the post of Law Officer -Cum-Junior Draftsman must possess a Bachelor Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution. However the final year students of the Law degree course who are to appear for such final examination shall also be eligible to apply. Such candidates who are declared to have qualified by the Commission in the written competitive examination will have to produce original certificate/Mark-sheets of passing their degree examination issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of examination/Vice Chancellor of the concerned University which will only be accepted by the Commission on or before the date cif lnterview/Viva-voce. Without the original certificate/Mark sheet they shall not be allowed to appear in the Viva-voce.

2. AGE:- The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on 16.06.2017. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the instructions issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

3. METHOD OF SELECTION:- The eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Examination in the following subjects followed by viva-voce/interview to be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Service Commission at Itanagar on the basis of which selection will be finalized.

   i)Constitutional Law 100 Marks

   ii)Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code and Code of Civil Procedure 100 Marks

   iii)Indian Contract Act, 1872, Indian Evidence Act,1872 and Assam Frontier(Administration of Justice) Regulation 1945. 100 Marks

   iv)General English 100 Marks

   (v)General Knowledge and Essay Writing 100 Marks

   (iv)Viva voce 75 Marks

   Total 575 Marks

   The candidates who secure a minimum of 33% or more marks in each written examination paper and have secured 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers will be eligible for interview/personality Test and on the basis of 1:3 ratio norm.

   Note: The Commission will adopt recruitment test (objective type) before the written examination if it is deemed necessary to do so.

4. AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORM S .

The application forms for admission to recruitment examination of the above post can be obtained from the Office of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Itanagar on all working days from 10.00 AM to 4.00PM up to 16.06.2017 on cash payment of Rs.100/-

(Rupees one hundred) only for APST candidates and 160/-(Rupees one hundred sixty)only for General candidates. No separate examination fee in the form of Demand Draft/Treasury Challan will be required further along with the application. The examination fee has been included with the cost of the application form for convenience of the applicant.

Further, application form and Attendance sheet can also be typed out or downloaded from Commission's Office Website www.appsc.gov.in and it can be sent through post enclosing required fee in the form of Demand Draft/IPO in favour of Secr etary , Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, ltanagar-791111 .The envelope must prescribe on its body "Application form for the post of Law Officer-Cum-Junior Draftsman".

HOW TO APPLY:- Along with the dully filled up format, candidates must enclose_the following documents other-wise the application will be rejected.

1. Self-attested copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheets issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain educational qualification.

2. 2{two) copies of recent pass-port size photographs with self-attestation in he front side. (One self-attested photograph should be pasted on the space provided in the application form and another on the Attendance sheet).

3. self-attested copy of APST certificate for APST candidates and Permanent Residential certificate for the candidates belonging to other States of India .

4. Self-attested copy of Matriculation Certificate for proof of Age issued by the Board/University only will be accepted.

5. Original copy of Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order (for those form other than obtained from Commission's office).

6. LA ST DATE FOR RECEIVING OF APPLICATION: The last date of receiving of application form by the Commission is 16.06.2017 up to 4 P.M.

1. OTHER RULES:

1. All the documents submitted to the Commission must be self-attested.

2. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the Interview or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

3. Candidates already in service may apply direct to this Commission with intimation to his/her Head of Depart ment.

4. Application in prescribed form along with necessary documents should be submitted in the Reception counter in a cover/envelope super scribed, Application for the post of Law Officer-Cum-Junior Draftsman and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure submission of application form. 5. Application form received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected .

6. The Commission will not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reason whatsoe ver.

7. Application form can be sent through post/courier or deposit in perso.n counter .

8. Application form not fulfilling the terms and conditions as stipulated in the advertisement and application form will be rejected.
