WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED PERSONS

The Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha established by an Act of Odisha Legislative Assembly and having 153 Constituent/ affiliated colleges is now looking for Retired Senior person having good exposure in the areas as given below.

The minimum qualification shall be graduate in respective discipline to suit the requirement of work. Knowledge and /or work experience of computer shall be added advantage. Experience in respective field in Government/ Government educational institution shall be preferred. The posting shall be at Rourkela. The person should be below the age of 65 years as on date of application and physically fit. The retired person against whom departmental proceeding or criminal case are contemplated / pending or who have been penalized for misconduct during the period of preceding five years will not be eligible for consideration. The engagement shall initially for a period of one year and may subsequently be extended based on performance.

* Note : The pay shall be last pay drawn (minus) pension or Rs. 20000/-whichever is higher limiting to maximum of Rs.20,000/-per month.

Interested candidate are required to attend the interview at BPUT, Chhend, Rourkela, 09.08.2017 with application in plane paper addressed to the Registrar, BPUT, resume with two recent passport size color photographs and other testimonials as proof of their qualification, experience, last pay certificate, PPO etc. One set of photocopies of the original certificate and other relevant documents are required to be deposited at the time of interview. The candidates are also required to bring all the original certificates/documents for verification on the spot.

No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. The engagement is purely on temporary basis and will form no basis either legally or otherwise to claim right for the regularization against the post or any other post. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all the applications or cancel the entire process of interview without assigning any reasons thereof. The authority also reserves the right to terminate any such engagement on contract at any time without assigning any reasons by giving one month notice.
