Pilani Campus, Pilani, Rajasthan (one position).

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Function as a designate Assistant Security Officer and discharge all the functions to comply with the guidelines issued by the institute.

Assist CSO/SO to supervise permanent & outsourced security supervisors/ guards using latest tools & gadgets to safeguard the institutes assets & resources, men & materials 24 x 7.

Assist CSO/SO to ensure compliance with systems & procedures as laid down and adopted.

Assist in implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure highest standards of security in the institute premises.

Liaise with local police, Govt agencies and his peers in neighborhood institutes.

Assist CSO/SO in security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management.

Assist CSO/SO in incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.

Assessment of threat perception, police liaison, gang busting, rigorous patrolling of area & regular monitoring the same.

Gate management and access control, vehicle control, patrolling & other security

issues.

Ensuring statutory compliances implementation.

Deployment of security staff and maintain documents/ record of security section.

Qualification and Personal Profile

Graduate/ Equivalent

Should be proficient in English, spoken Hindi a must.

Should be a retiree from any of the armed forces as JCO or from the CAPF (BSF, CISF/CRPF/CISF/ITBP) and should have worked in intelligence/ administration/ training institute etc.

Knowledge of security risk assessment & experience of people management is a must

Should have a relevant experience of around 5 years in Security field/ forces

Should be not above 40 years of age as on 1 November 2017

Other Skill and Ability Requirements

Working knowledge of MS office preferred.

A person of high personal integrity, moral values and hardworking

Should have sound health and good physique, energetic and willing to work round the clock.

Should be prepared to work in any shift, visit Campus at odd hours, if required, to stay back.

Should be well versed in all aspects of Security including Movement of Men and Materials, loss prevention, CCTV monitoring, Access Control System, Fire fighting & Sprinklers etc

Should be able to manage / handle the security team and look after the team requirements

Should have excellent communication skills

Annual Salary

Pay Band 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2800. The Package will be up to 4.0 Lacs per annum depending upon experience and qualification plus other benefits as per BITS Norms.
