National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications from officers under the Central/State Governments Department/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings for appointment on deputation basis only to the following post:

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Education Qualification

Essential:

Degree in Law from a recognized University

Desirable

Masters Degree in Law from a recognized University.

Essential Experience

At least three years experience in the field of Law/Legislative matter and well versed in legal obligations relating to contractual matters and arbitrations/claim.

Method of Recruitment

By deputation from officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organization and other Government Bodies:-

(i) Holding analogous post in the Pay Scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100 )With Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- (in CDA pattern ) on regular basis;

OR

(ii) with three years of regular service in the pay carrying the pay scale of PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (in CDA Pattern);

OR

(iii) with six years of regular service in the post carrying the pay scale of PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- (in CDA Pattern);

OR

(iv) with eight years of regular service in the post carrying the pay scale of PB-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- (in CDA Pattern);

And

Possessing the essential educational qualification and experience as mentioned above

Period of deputation

Normally 5 years but may be extended/curtailed with the approval of Competent Authority.
