National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites applications from the persons with disabilities as defined in G.I Deptt. of Per. & Trg. OM no. 36035/14/95-Estt.(Res.) dt. 27.02.1996 and amended from time to time for direct recruitment to the following post in the scale of pay of Rs. 15600-39100(PB-3) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-:

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Dy. Manager(IT)

(a) Age : Not exceeding 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per GoI rules for PWD

(b) Educational qualification and experience required is as per following details

Deptt/Autonomous Body/PSU/Private or Public Commercial IT organization of repute. Direct recruitment will be through open advertisement and will have written tests, practical tests and interview with applicable reservation criteria as per GOI rules and will have probation of one year
(i) BE / B Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology or specialized equivalent qualification from a recognized University/ from a institute of repute / C level certification course from DOEACC.
OR (ii) Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology (any discipline) / Science AND MBA (Information System/ Information Technology) / Advance or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications/ Advanced Computing/ Mobile Computing/ IT Infrastructure, System and Security/ Cyber Security / Embedded Systems and Design/ System Software Development/ Big Data Analytics/ Automation SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) Systems/Multimedia or any related field etc. /
OR (iii) M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Multimedia etc.	1 Year
OR (iv) MCA / B Level certification course from DOEACC with B.Sc. (Mathematics as a subject)	2 Year
OR (v) B.Sc. (Computer Science / Information Technology / Multimedia) / BCA or Equivalent from a recognized university/from a institute of repute / A level certification course from DOEACC	3 Year

Other Important conditions:

1. Only such persons would be eligible for applying against the advertisement who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability

2. While applying the advertised post, the applicant shall submit a Disability Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format (enclosed at Annex-I).

3. The Competent Authority to issue Disability Certificate shall be a Medical Board duly constituted by the Central or a State Government. The Central /State Government may constitute Medical Board(s) consisting of atleast three members out of which at least one shall be a specialist in the particular field for assessing locomotor/Cerebral/visual/hearing disability, as the case may be

4. Applications not submitted strictly in the prescribed format or incomplete in any respect or without Disability Certificate in prescribed format issued by Competent Authority and NOC from department presently working and without details of pay scales shall be liable for summary rejection. The candidates are advised to fill the application format carefully in accordance with the eligibility criteria and experience mentioned above. It may be noted that any subsequent clarification regarding job profile/ experience, etc. at a later date will not be entertained under any circumstances.

5. The Upper age limit for advertised post on direct recruitment basis is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules applicable for different groups.

6. Wherever the pre-revised pay scale(s) have been mentioned in the application, the corresponding revised pay scales should also be indicated. Similarly, wherever the revised pay scale(s) have been mentioned, the corresponding pre-revised pay scale(s) should also be indicated.

7. Once a candidate applies for being considered and is considered and selected by NHAI, he/she should not decline the appointment. If he/she declines the appointment, his/her candidature shall not be considered for any further appointment by NHAI for a period of two years from the date of cancellation of offer of appointment.

8. Selection process shall be done for Direct Recruitment as per RR for the post advertised or as decided by the Competent Authority for written exam, interview, practical test etc. as per applicable rules.

9. Crucial date for determination of eligibility shall be the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications.

10. Canvassing or bringing influence in any form will disqualify the candidature.

11. Duly filled -in applications, along with the requisite information / documents stated in above paras, may be sent by Registered/Speed Post, through proper channel wherever applicable, to the following address, so as to reach latest by 30.07.2016. However, if the candidate anticipates delay in forwarding of his/her application from parent department, he/she should submit an advance copy of the application before the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications.

12. It may please be noted that the applications received through e-mail or fax shall be summarily rejected. This notice is also available on NHAI website: http:\\www.nhai.org. The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed with the name of the post applied for.

13. Corrigendum or Addendum to this advertisement, if any, shall be published only on the website of NHAI. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the website of NHAI regularly.
