The University requires faculty on contractual basis to run the following courses in the Main Campus, BHU for the academic session 2016-17. Provided further, the award of degrees to candidates registered for the M.Phil/Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-
(a) to (e), as above, are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/pro-Vice-Chancellor/Dean (Academic Affairs)/Dean (University Instructions). Good Academic Record for teaching positions as defined in the Short-listing Guidelines under Ordinance-11.A(1). |

(i) First Class Masters Degree in Business Management/Administration/ in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/accredited by the AICTE/UGC; OR, (ii) First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/ Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies. D.Q.: (i) Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization; (ii) Papers presented at Conferences and/or published in refereed journals. For post codes 5: E.Q.: (1) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55%marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in M.A./M.Com. from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (2) As prescribed for post codes 1-3(ii to v); OR First Class Masters Degree in Business Management/ Administration/ in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/accredited by the AICTE/UGC; or, First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/ Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the University shall be final. 4. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason or may increase or decrease the number of posts. 5. Relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) will be provided at the Masters level in case of SC/ST/differently-abled candidates for the post of Assistant Professor as per UGC Regulations 2010. 6.
