Title of the Project: Electro-Optical Response of Nematic Liquid Crystals doped with Nanorods
Specific area of the research: The project aims for physical studies on liquid crystals doped with nanorods. Such studies are very crucial for the development of liquid crystal based devices. The project is very challenging requiring a good knowledge of condensed matter physics, instrumentation and computer interfacing skill.
Duration of the Project: Till July 2020
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility: MSc in Physics/Applied Physics/Photonics/Material science/Nanotechnology having specialization in condensed matter physics/solid state physics with atleast 60% aggregate marks.
Fellowship: Rs 25000 pm*
