WALK IN INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested candidates are invited for the purely temporary position (one post) of JRF/Project Assistant (Level II) in the following DST Fast Track sponsored project tenable at S.S.J. Campus, Almora:-

Scheme: Biodegradation of Uttarakhand monuments via lichens: Floristic account, decay mechanism and control measures

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Botany/Life Sciences/Plant Science/Geology/Environmental Science (JRF candidate should be CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/LS/GATE qualified)

Desirable: Knowledge of computer and statistics.

Stipend: Rs. 12,000/-p.m. (consolidated) for initial 2 years and Rs. 14,000/p.m. (consolidated) for third year for Project Assistant II while 16,000/-p.m. + H.R.A. for JRF.

Date and Venue of Interview: 26 Aug. 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Department of Botany, S.S.J. Campus, Almora.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

a) Upper age limit not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 05 years and for OBC candidates 03 years as per Government of India instructions.

b) Applications stating full bio-data in duplicate with affixed photos (attested mark sheets, birth certificate, mobile number, email address, self addressed unstamped envelop) should reach to the undersigned on or before 18 Aug. 2013. The Application form will be provided at the venue on the interview date. At the time of interview candidates should bring two latest photographs, original copy of certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation), certificate indicating date of birth, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and 'result awaited' will not be considered. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 30 minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.

d) The position is purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Further the above stipend(s) is tentative and the same will be finally decided based on the availability of funds in the relevant sponsored projects.

e) To avoid any inconvenience, only those candidates who strictly fulfil the eligibility criteria and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects should turn up for floating interview

No TA/DA will be admissible.
