Sub: Applications invited - Recruitment of JRF- DST Project Department of Applied Science and Technology - Reg.

DST has sanctioned Rs. 64,29,480/- for a major research project entitled, Development of fluorine doped graphene based titania photocatalytic membranes for water treatment applications under Technology Development Program (DST-TDP) to Dr. T. Sivakumar, Principal Investigator, Dept. of Applied Science and Technology, A. C. Tech, Anna University for the period of three years.

Applications on plain paper along with detailed bio-data containing name, DOB, age, address, full details of educational qualification, NET qualification,experience and copies of certificates are invited for the following temporary post under the above mentioned DST-TDP research project.

1.	JRF	DST	M.Sc.(Chemistry/applied chemistry/organic chemistry/analytical chemistry/ physical chemistry/inorganic chemistry/polymer chemistry) with NET qualification. Non NET candidates with the above qualification may also apply OR M. Tech (Chemical/Nano Tech/ Material Science/ Environmental Science and Technology)	Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA ( Rs.32,500/-) The salary will be revised to Rs.28,000/- + 30% HRA after two years. Salary for Non NET PG candidates will be as per DST guidelines.

Project period : 3 years ( Jan 2018 to Dec 2020)

Amount sanctioned: Rs. 64.2948 lakhs

Candidates selected will have the opportunity to register for Ph. D at Anna University. The candidates with NET qualification and/or experience in the area of catalysis/ membranes will be given preference. As this project has collaboration with Aditya Birla Science and Technology Centre, Mumbai, the candidate should be willing to travel to Mumbai frequently.
