A walk-in-interview will be held on 0gl)gl2}l7 ^{at 12.30 pm at the Offrce of the Head, Department of _Social Work of this University for engaging one Guest faculty-l (UR) (on purely temporary basis) for a period of 44 days for teaching Ecology & Environmental Science in the department of Social Work, Assam University, Silchar.}

Remuneration: Rs. 1000/-per lecture with a ceiling ^{of Rs. 25, 000/-per month.}

Eligibility: Essential: i. Good academic record with ^{at least 55%o marks (or an equivalent grade in a point _{scJe wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject from an}}

Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited ^{foreign University'}

ii. Besides fulfiliing the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility ^Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similartest accredited by the UGC like SLETiSET.

iii. Notwittrstanding anything contained in ⁽ⁱ⁾ and ^(ii), candidates, ^{who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with ih. Uriu.rrity Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for awarO of Ph.D degree) Regulations, 2OOg, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or eqiivalerrt positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. Fufther, the award of degtees to candidates registered for the M.Phil/Ph.D programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of thE then existing Ordinances/ By laws/ Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D _candidates shait be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of ,T{ET/SLET/SET _{for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in}}
