Applications are invited for two temporary positions, one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Lab Assistant positions under DBT sponsored project (No.BT/PR18168/MED/29/1064/2016 entitled Role of AMP-activated protein Kinase in experimental cerebral malaria and possible role of minocycline as an adjunctive therapy

Qualifications |
SRF -- Application should have an M.Sc, degree in Biotechnology/microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology. Candidates should have experience in in vivo & in vitro culturing experience in plasmodium parasites. Preference: Candidates should have experience in molecular techniques like Western blotting, HPLC, PCR. Lab Assistant SSC, at least 3 years in Lab experience. Preference: Driving and technical knowledge |

Duration |
Appointments are purely temporary and are made for a period of one year and can be extended until the duration of the project i.e, for a period of 3 years. |
