Name of the sponsoring agency Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India Scheme - Empowerment and Equity Opportunities for Excellence in Science (EMEQ) Tenure of the project 04 Years Tenure of the assignment 01 Year (One year in the beginning and may be extended up to three more years based on satisfactory performance) Job Description To carry out the research work related to the project Monthly fellowship As per SERB/DST, GOI norm Essential qualification Masters degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biosciences/Botany or other relevant discipline with good academic records from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Age limit: 28 years (or as per GOI rule) Reservation Reservation as per Govt. of India norms will be followed. Desirable qualification/experience Valid NET/GATE/JRF (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT/ICMR) or any other equivalent examination will be preferred. Knowledge of Plant Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates having demonstrated experience in the related research. Terms and conditions The services of the selected candidate will be as per SERB, DST guidelines. The project fellowship is a full time position. Note - No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The eligible candidates should report at the venue of walkin interview with original documents/testimonials for verification.
