Advertisement for JRF Position

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Indian nationals only) for the following temporary post in the research project entitled Enzyme engineering for efficient synthesis of diastereoselective Henry products'' sponsored by Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB).

Duration: Three years

Name and No. of positions : JRF, One
Emoluments for the position : Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
Qualifications : M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks with NET/GATE qualification. Desirable: Candidates having lab experience in molecular biology, cloning and protein expression, protein purification and characterization, protein engineering, enzymology and biocatalysis will be preferred. Having a valid CSIR-NET(JRF)/UGC-NET(JRF)/DST-INSPIRE /DBT/any other fellowship will be an added advantage.
Duration : Depending upon the suitability of the candidate, appointment can be made for six months/ one year and can be extendible after review each year until the duration of the project.

  4. Please note that the appointment to be made is purely temporary. There is no right for claiming any regular appointment in the University.

  5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post, if selected.
