Job description

A high end two probe Near field scanning optical microscope (NSOM) and Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) facility has been established by the School of Physics, University of Hyderabad on their campus. Labindia Instruments Private Limited

Successful candidate will be given the responsibility of technical support, operation and maintenance of the facility. The job requires candidates with basic knowledge of subjects such as far-field and near field optics, scanning probe microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and analog and digital electronics. The selected candidate will be stationed in the University campus and will have to liaise with M/s Labindia Instruments Pvt. Ltd. and University faculty.

Eligibility

M.Sc. (Physics) from a recognized University with Electronics as one of the subjects and at least 55% marks in their qualifying exam.

OR

B.Tech./B.E. (ECE or related subject) from a recognized College or University and at least 55% marks in their qualifying exam.

Desirable

Prior hands-on experience with one or more of the following equipment: Near field Scanning optical microscope, Atomic force microscope, Electron microscope, Raman spectrometer.

Important Note

Applicants should note that they will work on retainer ship basis with M/s Labindia Instruments Pvt. Ltd. for 3 years and not with the University of Hyderabad.

They will be governed by the rules and regulations of M/s Labindia Instruments Pvt. Ltd.

Appointments will be made for a period of one year initially and can be extended based on a performance review at the end of the year.

Salary: Retainership fee will be as per the company policy.
