Project on Targeted Genome Editing for Regulating Tomato Fruit Ripening

1. Research Associate: (1 position): Applicants should have PhD degree in Plant Sciences or related areas. The essential qualification for this position is the research experience in tissue culture and plant transformation, raising, analyzing and propagating transgenic plants preferably in tomato or other crop plants. The experience should be supported by research publications. Selected candidate would be paid Rs. 36,000+30% HRA.
   
   
2. Research Associate: (1 position): Applicants should have PhD degree in plant molecular biology. The essential qualification for this position is the research experience in plant functional genomics for CRISPAR/CAS mutagenesis system with expertise in designing and cloning of gene constructs needed for genome editing. The experience should be supported by research publications. Selected candidate would be paid Rs. 36,000+30% HRA.
   
   

Project on Genome wide screen for tomato mutants by TILLING-Phase-II

3. Research Associate: (1 position): Applicants should have PhD degree in plant molecular biology. We are looking for a candidate who can handle Next Gen Sequencing and DsDNA analyzer for TILLING. The experience in crossing/backcrossing and maintaining mutant lines is desirable. The experience should be supported by research publications. Selected candidate would be paid Rs. 36,000+30% HRA.

Candidates interested in above project positions should send a one page statement clearly explaining how their skills are relevant to the position along with a copy of their research publications.
