Advertisement for the Post of Research Assistants (Date: August 28, 2017)

Applications are invited from eligible and interested Indian candidates for the position of Research Assistant in the inter-disciplinary research programme entitled Issues in North East India: Contemporary Debates sanctioned by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi to Prof. Ajailiu Niumai (Project Director), Prof. Phanindra Goyari (Project Co-Director) and Dr.

M.N. Rajesh (Project Co-Director). The position is initially for approximately one year. However, the period may be extended depending upon the need of the project works or the performance of the candidate(s). The study programme involves field surveys in North Eastern Region (NER) of India.

The selection of the candidates will be finalized in the personal interviews. The date and venue of interview will be informed to the short-listed candidates through E-mail.

Applicants should note that the appointment to be made is purely temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post.
