Recruitment of Project Fellow

Walk in Interview

Eligible candidates are requested to attend walk in interview for a temporary post of Project Fellow in the UGC-Major Research Project titled Programming the immunogencity of latency associated antigens of M tuberculosis through Toll Like receptors (TLRs) adjuvants" in the office of the Dean, School of Life sciences on March 16, 2017 at 11.00 A.M.

Qualifications

First class BE/ B Tech/MSc/MTech/IMSc/ or equivalent with major specialization in any of the theses disciplines: Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Biology.

The candidate should be below the age of 40 years at the time of

appointment.

Desirable

Candidate should have strong background in Bioinformatics and computational Biology with good programming skills particularly in R/PERL/PYTHON.

Candidates should have six months to one year research experience.

Fellowship

Rs. 14,000 p.m. + H.R.A. as per rules

Duration

The appointment will be on temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on performance, the appointment could be extended till the end of project.

Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post, if selected.
The Applicants should carry all the original certificates of the qualifying exam at the time of attending the interviews. Attested photocopies of certificates/mark sheets and other testimonials will be collected at the time of interview.
