Applications are invited on a plain paper (along with copies of educational qualifications and experience) from eligible candidates for selection for the following positions in the projects sanctioned to Prof. Krishnaveni Mishra and Sharmistha Banerjee, Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad.
Project: "Cente of Excellence in Biomolecular structure and function on Host-Pathogen interaction (BT/PR15450/COE/34/46/2016)
Positions:
1. Part time Administrative assistant @ Rs. 8094/- (consolidated) per month (fixed) 1 position
Qualification and experience: Bachelors degree with basic knowledge of computers (MS-Office). Experience of accounting desirable. Would be required to provide administrative assistance for about 3 hrs per day for smooth operation of the project.
2. Lab attendant-1 @ Rs 14,910/- (consolidated) per month SB Lab
Qualification and experience: Class XII pass, with 5 years of experience of working in HIV lab and proper disposal of biohazard wastes and biosfety maintenance in BSL-2 and BSL-3 culture facilities are the essential requirements for the project. The job has additional clerical and administrative duties.
3. Lab attendant-2 @ Rs 14,910/- (consolidated) per month KM Lab
Qualification and experience: Class X pass, with 5 years of experience of working in microbial cell culture including yeast and bacteria with the knowledge of preparation and handling culture media, proper disposal of biohazard wastes and biosfety maintenance in BSL-2 culture facilities are the essential requirements for the project. The job has additional clerical and administrative duties.
4. Technical Assistant @ Rs, 17,040/- (Consolidated) per month - 2 positions
Qualification and experience: M.Sc / B.Tech (Biotechnology) with basic knowledge in molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture etc. Experience of working in research labs preferred. NET qualification not essential.
Please note:
Duration: All appointments are made for one year and can be extendible after review each year until the duration of the project
