Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) OR Research Associate (RA) under NASI- Platinum Jubilee Senior Scientist Fellow Award. The selected candidate will work on the issues related to Satellite Remote Sensing.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) OR Research Associate (RA)

Essential Qualification:

JRF-First class MSc in Earth Sciences, Physics, Satellite Metrology, Ecology, Forestry (NET Qualified)

Research Associate - Ph D in above disciplines OR minimum three year research experience with at least 1 publication in SCI journal.

Desirable: Knowledge in remote sensing and geospatial modeling. Experience in programming shall be preferred.

The fellowship amount and HRA will be paid as per the GOI rules,

Duration: Initially for a period of one year (Temporary) w.e.f date of issuing the order and it likely to be extendable based on the performance.

1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview nor at the time of joining the post, if selected.

2. Selected candidate should join immediately.

3. If the performance of the candidate is found unsatisfactory at any point of time, the position will be terminated with one month of notice.

4. Position is purely temporary for the above mentioned period as specified in the advertisement. There will not be any right for claiming any regular appointment in the university
