1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the masters degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in 1 and 2, candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
4. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Desirable: Candidate must be able to teach core subject of International Relations like, International Relations Theory, International Relations of West Asia/ Peace and Conflict/International Law/Political Geography

Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Assistant Professor (Guest faculty) on contractual basis in the Centre for International Relations at the Central University of Jharkhand.

Venue of the Interview: Central University of Jharkhand, C.T.I. Campus, Brambe, Ratu-Lohardaga Road

Date of Interview: 03 - 03 - 2014 Registration Time: 9:00 am to 11: 00 am

Interview Time: 10:30 onwards

Interested candidate may come with Bio-data including all original documents of qualifications (also with self attested photocopies with two colour photographs

No TA/DA will be given to attend the interview
