The Central University of Jharkhand is looking for engagement of Guest faculties at various Centres. The engagement shall be purely temporary in nature. Honorarium Rs. 1000/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month.

i. Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii) candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

1. First Class Masters Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC.

2. First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

Desirable:

(Tech) in Environmental Sciences. from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in i and ii, candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.

Desirable Qualification:

Candidates should be M.Sc. / M. Tech/ M.Sc. (Tech) in Environmental Sciences or its equivalent. Preferences will be given to the NET & Ph.D. candidates preferable with specialization in i. Ecology, ii. Environmental Laws & Legislation, iii. Environmental impact assessment/mining safety , etc.

i. Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Geography, Science and Mathematics)
ii. Postgraduate degree in Education (M. Ed.) with minimum 55% marks
iii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Awar4d of Ph. D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 Shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.

iv. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
v. Specializations in Psychology, Education Technology and ICT will be given preference.

Registration Time- 9.30 to 11.00 a.m.

Interview Time 10.30 a.m. onwards.

Interested Candidates may come with bio-data including all original documents (also bring a photocopy of the documents self attested) with two color photographs. CUJ reserves the right to cancel all and / or any centre Walk-in-Interview without assigning any reason thereof. No TA/DA or accommodation shall be provided for attending the interview. Interview may continue for next day depending upon the circumstances, hence the candidate may come prepared accordingly. Interview date and time are tentative and may subject to change which shall be notified from time to time in CUJ website, In case of such change.
