Walk-in-Interview

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) on contractual basis in the Centre for Applied Physics at the Central University of Jharkhand.

Essential:

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever grading system is followed) at the masters degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in 2, candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation., 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty).

Desirable:

The Candidate must be able to teach core subjects like Classical Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Quantum Physics, Solid State Physics, Statistical Mechanics and Classical Electrodynamics at P.G. level.

Rs. 35,000/- per month (consolidated)

Venue of the Interview: Central University of Jharkhand, C.T.I. Campus, Brambe, Ratu-Lohardaga Road, Brambe, Mandar, Ranchi- 835 205.

Date of Interview: 31-01-2014

Registration Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Interview Time: 10:30 onwards

Interested candidates may come with Bio-Data including all original documents (also with the self attested photocopies of documents) with two colour photographs.
