Application in prescribed form (available in University sales counter on payment of Rs. 250/-) are invited from the candidates for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under DST-SERB Project entitled-Modelling of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Paddy Fields through Conventional, System of Rice Intensification and Zero-tillage Practices in Burdwan District, West Bengal, India in the Department of Environmental Science, The University of Burdwan.

Essential Qualification	(i)M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Zoology/Botany or M.Sc. (Agriculture) with Agronomy/Soil Science --with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH) along with adequate training experience on field based research, knowledge in computer and ecological modeling (ii) Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (JRF)/LS or GATE Examination
Emoluments	Rs. 25000.00 per month (1st and 2nd year) Rs. 28000.00 per month (3rd year) as SRF HRA (@ 10%) of fellowship for candidates not availing University accommodation.
Age	Candidates should not be more than 28 years
