Walkin interview will be conducted for hiring of pilots/CoPilots on contract basis from the eligible candidates of Indian Nationals as per the details given below:

Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed term contract for a period of 2 (two) years, extendable for another 1 (one) year subject to satisfactory performance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON THE DATE OF APPLICATION

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: 10+2 (with Physics & Moths) from a recognized Board/University.

TECHNICAL/LICENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Current ClassI Medical Fitness Certificate issued by DGCA, India
Current valid ATPL/CPL issued by DGCA, India
Current FRTO issued by DGCA, India

IR Endorsement

Current RTR (A) or RTR (P) or RTR(C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication, India

Valid ELP

Candidates should be in possession of Indian Current passport, if not available, proof of submission of application to be attached.

EXPERIENCE:

Pilot (P1)Dornier DO 228 With Valid ATPL on Dornier DO 228 & Minimum of 2500 hrs of flying experience out of which 500 hrs experience on type as PIC.
Pilot (P1) Beech Craft B300(350) With Valid ATPL on Beech Craft B300(350) & Minimum of 2500 hrs of flying experience out of which 500 hrs experience on type as PIC.
CoPilot (Beech Craft B 300(350) With valid CPL on Beech Craft B300(350) aircraft & Minimum flying experience of 500 Hrs out of which 200 hrs should be on type
Note:Dornier DO 228 / Beech Craft B 300(350) rated pilots must have flown Type of aircraft in last 12 months. If not current and selected then they have to bear the charges to become on lines.

Note: Candidates should be in possession of the above Technical/License Qualifications as CURRENT at the time of scrutiny of application/Personal Interview as well as at the time of joining. In case, IR

Rating is not CURRENT or there is any other associated requirement for RECENCY (e.g. Renewal of IR, Familiarization, Base/Aircraft/SIM training), and the candidate is selected, the candidate will be required to pay the cost of training for RECENCY. In addition, the Cost of Training required for the candidate to be released online as per Regulatory Requirements, shall be borne by the candidate (Refer clause Cost of Training & Bank Guarantee). During training period and till they become current, Pilot will be paid a stipend of Rs.51,300/and copilot of Rs.43,200/. UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR PILOT (P1): 57 Years

UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR CoPilot: 53 Years

COST OF TRAINING & BANK GUARANTEE:

The total cost of training will be borne by the candidates. If AAI is required to bear the expenses, same will be recovered from the salary in Equal Monthly Installments during the period of contract. In addition, candidates will also be required to give a Bank Guarantee from a Nationalized Bank of equivalent amount of the training cost. In case, the candidate leaves the Company before completion of 2 years of contract, the said Bank Guarantee will be invoked by Airports Authority of India for proportionate amount.

Candidates coming for WalkInInterview are required to bring with them the following original certificate/ documents together with one copy of each:

i) A duly filled in Application Form in the prescribed format which is available on Website:

ii) A recent passport size photograph pasted in the space provided in the Application Format

iii) One set of photocopies of supporting testimonials for date of birth, caste, qualification, experience (such as Appointment Letter, Photo Identity Card etc.) along with ORIGINALS

iv) One set of photocopies of above Licences/Endorsements, Updated Flying Logbook along with ORIGINAL LICENCES & Flying Logbook.

HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates who wish to apply are advised to log on to AAI Website: www.aai.aero, Download & fill in the Application Format and submit the same on the date of WalkInInterview.

Candidates, employed in Government/Semi Government/Public Sector Undertakings, are required to bring a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of coming for WalkInInterview.

FIXED TERM CONTRACT AGREEMENT: Candidates would be required to execute Fixed Term Contract Agreement to serve the Company for a period of (Two) 02 years which may be extended for further period of one (01) year based on requirement of the company and performance of the candidates.

Pay and allowances by AAI

(i). Pilot (P1)

During the period of contract , candidates selected as Pilot(PI) will be paid Fixed emoluments of 2,88,380/(which includes 30 hours of Minimum assured flying Allowance) per Month, which will be inclusive of Dearness allowance, House Rent allowance and other allowance, subject to deduction of TDS as per rules. No Minimum Assured Flying allowance shall be payable for the month in which Pilot refuses to fly for reasons other than due to acute personal requirement such as self hospitalization or bereavement in the family, subject to approval of competent authority (Executive Director, Flight Inspection Unit).

In addition to above, Beyond 30 hrs of flying in a month flying charges per hour shall be paid as actual at prevailing rates.

Hotel accommodation as per entitlement of GM scale at outstations (Except Delhi).

Rs 3,500/(

Three Thousand Five Hundred only) per day towards incidental charges like Telephone, Transport, etc whenever assigned for flying duties. This shall also be payable in case the Pilot arrives at airport to undertake Calibration flight and the flight is cancelled due circumstances beyond his control like bad weather, technical snag in aircraft etc.

Uniform allowance shall be paid on annual basis as applicable to AAI Pilots/CoPilots

(ii).CoPilot (P2): During the period of contract, candidates selected as CoPilot(PI) will be paid Fixed emoluments of 2,34,650/(which includes 30 hours of Minimum assured flying Allowance) per Month, which will be inclusive of Dearness allowance, House Rent allowance and other allowance, subject to deduction of TDS as per rules. No Minimum Assured Flying allowance shall be payable for the month in which Pilot refuses to fly for reasons other than due to acute personal requirement such as self hospitalization or bereavement in the family, subject to approval of competent authority (Executive Director, Flight Inspection Unit).

Leave

The Pilot /CoPilot shall be eligible for 12 days leave in a calendar year on prorata basis. The unavailed leave in a calendar year cannot be carried forward to next calendar year or encashed at the end of the tenure.

AAI would be free to terminate the services of Pilot/CoPilot, in case he/she remains absent for more than 15 days beyond the entitled leave in a calendar year.

Other terms and conditions:

During Contract period the pilot / Copilot shall always be available for AAI Calibration flying. AAI flying shall always have priority.

Pilot / CoPilot are required to intimate and get approval from the Executive Director, Flight Inspection Unit, AAI, to fly for outside agencies for currency of his license or to log extra flying hours for completing minimum flying hours for revalidation of license.

During Contract period the activities for maintaining validity of license and IR/ Medical etc., shall be the responsibility of the individual Pilot / Copilot however, the fees/charges shall be reimbursed by

AAI on actual basis. During Contract period Aviation PA / LOL Insurance shall be the responsibility of the individual pilot/copilot (LOL/PA etc.) and Premium paid towards these policies shall be reimbursed by AAI subject limitation of existing AAI guidelines on the subject.

AAI does not undertake any liability for providing any medical facility to Pilot/CoPilot of his/her dependents, which is existing in AAI and there will be no other financial liability on the part of AAl, since the remuneration is inclusive of everything.

No CPF, Gratuity shall be admissible to the Pilot / CoPilot.

Minimum Assured Flying allowance / Honorarium shall be withdrawn for the period during which the Pilot / Cois involved in an accident / incident and is grounded or his license is withdrawn, till such time he is absolved of all charges by the regulatory authority / Court of Inquiry.

The currency of license and IR/ Medical etc., shall be the responsibility of the individual Pilot / Copilot however, the fees/charges shall be reimbursed by AAI on actual basis.

The Pilot / CoPilot hereby agree to serve the Authority for a period of two years from the Date of Joining ("Commitment Period").

In case the Pilot leaves the Authority before completion of agreement period as above, he / she shall be liable to pay to the Authority cost of Checks, on prorata basis.

The selected Pilot / CoPilot shall enter into an agreement with Airports Authority of India on Non Judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/.

Shall monitor and observe his FDTL as per DGCA rules

GENERAL:

The Management reserves the right to modify/change in the above schedule/condition/ requirement/ number of posts based on the actual need at a point of time in future. The short listed candidates will be considered for engagement on the Fixed Term Contract Agreement.
