Qualifications & Experience:-

Qualifications:

01. Manager(Electronics) : First class Engineering degree in Electronics/

Telecommunications/ Electrical with specialization

in Electronics or M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject or equivalent with First Class.

02. Manager(ATC) : First class Engineering degree in Electronics/

Telecommunications/Radio Engg./ Electrical with

specialization in Electronics Or M.Sc. degree or its

equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics,

Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject or equivalent with First Class.

03. Manager Engg.(Civil) :First Class Degree in Civil Engg. or equivalent.

04. Manager Engg.(Electrical) :First ClassDegree in Electrical Engg. or equivalent.

05. Manager (Finance) : First Class CA/ICWA, MBA Finance or

equivalent.

06. Manager (Fire Services) : First Class Graduate + Grad. IFE or Divisional

Officers Course or B.E. (Fire) & equiv. + Valid

HTV Licence or equivalent.

07. Manager (Personnel) : First Class Graduate with MBA (HRD) or MA with

Personnel Mgmt. or equivalent.

08. Manager (Commercial) : First Class Graduate in Commerce/Econ. /Stat. with

MBA(Marketing/Finance) or equivalent. Degree in Law desirable.

09. Manager (Land Mgmt.) : First Class PG Degree or equivalent in Business

Admn./MBA or Degree in Engg./Arch/Law or

equivalent.

10. Manager (Airport Operations): First Class Graduate in Science with MBA or

equivalent LMV Licence essential.

11. Manager (Cargo) : First Class Graduate with MBA or equivalent.

12. Manager (Law) : First Class Graduate in Law.

Experience: A minimum experience of 2 years in the concerned discipline/field is essential for all posts against Post Code 03 to 12.

Experience in the fields of maintenance/operation of various communication equipments such as NAV-AIDS, Radar etc. for post of Manager (Electronics) [Post Code 01] and experience in the field of Air Traffic Control for post of Manager (ATC) [Post Code 02] is desirable.

All the candidates selected for Post Code 01 & 02 shall be required to undergo ab-initio training course comprising various aspects of Air Traffic Management/ Operations and Maintenance/ Operation of various NAV-AIDS, Radar etc. upto 1 year, during which they shall be paid consolidated stipend of Rs. 13000/- p.m. Prior to joining, they would be required to furnish a surety bond of Rs. 2.00 Lakh to serve AAI for a period of 5 years after completion of training.

AGE LIMIT (As on 1.10.2007) :- 32 Years

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection shall be made on the basis of a Written Test/ Interview. For Manager(FS), physical tests will also be conducted.

CONCESSIONS FOR SC/ST

a. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years.

b. No application fee.

c. Candidates not working in Govt./Autonomous Bodies /PSUs, will be paid second class rail fare for interview only by the shortest route as per AAI rules.

CONCESSION FOR OBC

Upper age limit is relaxable by three years.

CONCESSION FOR J&K RESIDENTS

Upper age limit is relaxable by five years in respect of the candidates who had originally domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

CONCESSION FOR EX-SERVICEMEN

Age relaxation as per Govt. rules

CONCESSION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

I. Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years.

II. No application fee.

The concessions are subject to furnishing an attested copy of the certificate(s) as proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other categories from a Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India.

GENERAL:

a. Selected candidates will be initially posted anywhere in India.

b. Besides basic pay DA, CCA, HRA and other benefits such as Medical, LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, PF, etc. admissible as per AAI rules also will be paid.

c. Employees of Govt./Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Bodies should forward their applications through proper channel.

d. The written test will be held at Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata/ Chennai/Guwahati/ Allahabad/ Ahmedabad/ Hyderabad/ Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram. The number of centres can be reduced/increased depending upon the number of applications / nominations received, and in that case, the candidates will be adjusted at the nearest centre.

e. The eligibility with respect to age, experience etc. will be determined as on 01.10.2007

f. Securing at least 60% marks shall constitute First Class Degree wherever prescribed.

g. The eligibility under the category of persons with disabilities is for those persons having 40% or more disability

h. The persons with disabilities can be selected on merit against the unreserved vacancies.

Applications must be accompanied by Photo copies of all the documents regarding qualification, experience, age, category etc. and a crossed demand draft of Rs. 100/-(non refundable) in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at Delhi. Envelope shall be marked with the post applied for. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply separately alongwith separate DD. AAI will not be responsible for any postal delay. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected without any further correspondence. Incomplete/ indirect/ unsigned applications/ applications without photos and copies of documents will also be rejected without any further correspondence.
