Must not have undergone major operation by virtue of which his physical fitness towork in Fire Service has been impaired. Should be capable of undergoing physicalstrain for prolonged periods.
Selection Process The candidates will have to appear for written test, physicalmeasurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview. The candidates will be allowed to appear in driving test / physicalendurance test subject to passing the written test. Appointment tothe post of Junior Assistant (FS) is subject to fulfilling eligibilityconditions and successful passing of Basic Training Course for aperiod of four months. During training, incumbent is entitled forstipend as per the rules.
DISQUALIFICATION Physical deformity, chronic diseases, colour blindness, nightblindness, squint eye, flat foot, bow legs, knocking knee andrefractive error will be considered as disqualification.

OTHER CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
with Hindi and English as compulsory / optional subject or either of the two as a medium of examination and other as a compulsory / optional subject, along with a recognized diploma /certificate course in translation (from Hindi to English or vice-versa) or an experience of two years of translation work from Hindi to English or vice-versa from Central / State Govt. Offices or Established Institution etc. including Undertakings of Govt. of India.

1 Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may submit their application on plain paper (separately for eachpost along with attested copy of relevant certificates) in Hindi / English in the following format addressed toTHE REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Airports Authority of India, Southern Region, Chennai 600 027 (the envelope should be super-scripted by Application for the post of _________ ) along with a Demand Draft for Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) [non-refundable] drawn in favour of Airports Authority ofIndia, payable at Chennai so as to reach on or before 15/05/2012. Please mention Name of the candidate on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. SC/ST / Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
