2. Qualification & Experience :-

Post Selection Process Age Limit
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Written/Trade Tests followed by Interview. Disqualified candidates in Written Test will not be called for Trade Test and Interview. ST/SC candidates 35 years OBC candidates 33 Years Physically Handicapped 40 Years.
7 & 8 Trade Test and Interview. ST/SC candidates 35 years OBC candidates 33 Years Physically Handicapped 40 Years.

i) All Degree/Diploma/Certificates should be from University/ Institute recognized and approved by AICTE/State Boards.

ii) A copy of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged certificate from a competent authority shall necessarily be submitted by the candidates belonging to any particular category.

iii) The certificate of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/OBC/Ex-serviceman/ Persons with disabilities should be in the proper prescribed format and should have been issued by the appropriate authority.

iv) Employees of Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Body should forward their application Through Proper Channel and furnish No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.

v) Candidates applying for more than one post should apply separately.

vi) Applications received after the last date shall be rejected without any further correspondence. AAI will not be responsible for any postal delay.

vii) Incomplete/incorrect/un-signed applications or applications without photos and copies of documents will be rejected without any further correspondence.

viii) The eligibility with respect to age, experience etc. will be determined as on

1st June, 2009.

ix) Airports Authority of India will have full discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks and other eligibility criteria.

x) The qualification and experience prescribed against each post indicates the minimum requirement. Depending upon the response in each post, Management reserves right to raise higher standards of qualification and experience.

xi) In case of Group C posts, only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying mark in the written examination and fulfils other eligibility criteria as may be fixed by Airports Authority of India as its discretion, would be eligible to be called for trade test/interview.

xii) In case of Group D posts , only those candidates who secure in the interview/personality test/trade test (wherever applicable) the minimum qualifying marks and other eligibility criteria as may be fixed by Airports Authority of India at its discretion, would be eligible for appointment.

xiii) Any attempt to bring outside influence for consideration of the candidature in any manner whatsoever will amount to disqualification and the candidature of such candidates will be rejected.

xiv) The candidates will have the option to use Hindi or English in answering the question papers (except paper in English, if any)

xv) The Eligibility criteria with regard to age, qualification etc., shall be determined as on 1st June, 2009.

xvi) Selected candidates will be posted to any of the field Station/Offices in Western Region under the control of Regional Office. However, they are liable to be transferred anywhere in India.

xvii) Besides Basic pay DA, CCA, HRA other benefits such as Medical, LTC, Leave Encashment ,Gratuity, PF, etc. admissible as per AAI rules also will be paid.

5 How to apply:-
The candidate fulfilling the above conditions may submit his/her
application on plain paper in Hindi / English in the following format

Airport, Mumbai - 400 099 (the envelope should be superscripted by the name of the post applied for(in block letter) ) along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Mumbai so as to reach on or before 30.06.2009. Only OBC candidate should submit Demand Draft for Rs.100/- . SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
