Advertisement for Continuous Airworthiness Manager
Applications are invited by Executive Director, Flight Inspection Unit from eligible candidates for appointment as a Continuous Airworthiness Manager (CAM) in Airports Authority of India's (AAI), Flight Inspection Unit on Contract basis. Application should accompany self attested copies of certificate, license/certificate etc.
Last date of receipt of application is November 11, 2011.
Eligibility
1 The applicant should be Indian National residing in India.
2 Applicant must hold a valid BAMEL or BAMEC from DGCA India with a minimum experience of 02 years in aviation field and Quality work in a CAMO.
Terms and Conditions

The candidate shall appear for personal interview at assigned date and time at his own cost at New Delhi and furnish his Original Documents for scrutiny.
- Selected candidate shall serve the AAI for a initial period of 02 year ("Commitment Period") and his services may be extended further on mutual consent.

CAM (Continous Airwothiness Manager) must submit his original Documents / Certificates like License, for scrutiny at the time of personal interview to the Executive Director and / or designated officer.
- The CAM (Continous Airwothiness Manager) hereby agrees to serve the Authority for a minimum period of Two years from the Date of Joining ("Commitment Period"). In case the CAM (Continous Airwothiness Manager) leaves the Authority, he / she shall be liable to give at least one month notice to the Authority or 01 month Consolidated fixed allowance.
- The Fixed consolidated amount per month is negotiable depending on the qualification, quality work experience etc.

- No CPF, Gratuity etc. shall be admissible to the CAM (Continous Airwothiness Manager).

- The selected candidate shall enter into a contract with AAI for the commitment period.

Responsibilities / Duties of Continuous Airworthiness Manager
Post Holder for Continuing Airworthiness Management:
The Post Holder i.e. CAM will ensure along with group of post holders compliance of CAR M Sub Part G that all maintenance is carried out by suitably approved maintenance organization(s), in accordance with the relevant approved maintenance programme, on time and to an approved standard. He / she will act to ensure that the organizations responsibilities in the following areas can be met (if contracted to do so by the owner / operator):
- (a)
- Establishment and development of maintenance programmes for the aircraft managed by the organization required by Part MA.302.
- (b)
- Presentation of maintenance programmes to the competent authority for approval and provision of a copy to the owner operator.
- (c)
- Ensure the approval of modifications and repairs.
- (d)
- Ensuring modifications and repairs (changes) are carried out to an approved standard.
- (e)
- Ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance programme and released in accordance with M.A. sub part H.
- (f)
- Ensuring all applicable airworthiness directives and operational directives with a continued airworthiness impact are applied.
- (g)
- Ensuring that the aircraft is taken to an appropriately approved maintenance organization whenever necessary.
- (h)
- Ensuring all known defects are rectified.
- (i)
- Coordination of scheduled maintenance, the application of airworthiness directives, the replacement of service life limited parts and component inspections to ensure work is carried out properly.
- (j)
- Manage and prepare all continuing airworthiness records.
- (k)
- Ensuring the weight and balance statement reflects the current status of the aircraft.
- (l)
- The relationship with the Part 145/Subpart F maintenance contractor(s) and establishment of a Maintenance Contract required by Part M.A. 201(h) 2.
- (m)
- Non mandatory modification embodiment policy, where appropriate.
- (n)
- DGCA licensed engineers are competent to issue Certificates of Release to Service in accordance with M.A. 801.

- That the Certificate of Airworthiness for each aircraft of AAI remains valid in respect of:

- (i)
- The Airworthiness of the aeroplane.
- (ii)
- The expiry date specified on the Airworthiness Review Certificate and
(iii) Any other condition specified in the Certificate: Contd...3

- (p)
- Reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the DGCA and the aircraft manufacturers. This includes both Mandatory occurrences and occurrences related to maintenance findings, which fall outside the Mandatory scheme.
- (q)
- The amendment and control of this Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition.
- (r)
- Review and implementation, as appropriate, of any additional national requirements.
- (s)
- Application and review of the continuing airworthiness management arrangement(s) with the AAI.
