Qualification and Experience

2.	Sr. Asstt. (TM) (NE-6)	Qualification	10th Pass/10+2 with 3 Yrs Diploma in Hotel Mgmt or Graduate with Diploma in Sanitation or Public Hygiene/House Keeping
		Experience	2 years experience in the concerned discipline

* Relaxation of 3 cms in height and chest measurement and proportionate relaxation in weight will be allowed to hilly area candidates on production of Bonafide Certificates. However, minimum chest expansion must be 5 cms. No other relaxation will be allowed to any other category.

Selection Process:

01. Jr. Asstt. (FS)* :-Recruitment shall be made on the basis of a Physical Measurement, Written

Examination, Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test, Interview. AAI will not be responsible for any injury caused during the course of test.

02. Sr. Asstt. (TM) :-The selection shall be made on the basis of a written test/interview

*Training: Training will be imparted to successful candidates by AAI on Crash Fire Tenders (CFT). The candidates who do not qualify the CFT test will not be considered for appointment.

1. AGE LIMIT (AS ON 01.05.2010)

Maximum age 30 years

Age Relaxation:

i) Upto a Maximum of 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates ii) Upto a Maximum of 03 years in the case of OBC candidates. iii) In case of Ex-Serviceman, service rendered in the Armed Forces plus 03 years.

iv) For the post of Sr. Asstt. (TM), upto a Maximum of 10 years in the case of Orthopaedically Handicapped Candidates. In respect of OH (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, this is over and above the admissible relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

2. Application Fee: -i) SC/ST/OH Candidates Fee exempted ii) Gen/OBC/Ex-servicemen Candidates are liable to pay fee of Rs. 200/(Rupees Two hundred only) (non refundable) in the form of a crossed demand draft in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at Guwahati drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank.

GENERAL:

1. Besides basic pay, DA, CCA, HRA other benefits such as Medical, LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, PF, etc. admissible as per AAI rules also will be paid.
2. All Educational Qualification/Diploma/Certificates should be from University/Institute recognized and approved by AICTE/ State Boards.
3. If there is any discrepancy in the Name, Fathers Name, Date of Birth, etc. in the related academic, caste, driving license and other certificates, the candidature of the applicant shall be rejected without any prejudice.
4. A copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate from a competent authority shall necessarily be submitted by the candidates to belong to any particular category.
5. A copy of Orthopaedically Handicapped Certificate shall necessarily be submitted by the candidates in the format prescribed in the advertisement.
6. Candidates should have registration with employment exchange of any state in North Eastern Region.
7. The eligibility with respect to age, experience, driving license, etc. will be determined as on 01.05.2010.
8. Only MALE CANDIDATES need apply [For Jr. Asstt. (FS) only].
9. Employees of Govt. /Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Body should forward their application Through Proper Channel or furnish NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview.
10. The candidates who have appeared in the final exam before the last date of receipt of applications can also apply. However, their candidature will be provisional subject to their acquiring the prescribed qualifications before the written examination / interview as the case may be.
11. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected without any further correspondence. AAI will not be responsible for any postal delay.
12. Incomplete/incorrect/un-signed applications or applications without photos and copies of documents will be rejected without any further correspondence.

13. ANY ATTEMPT TO BRING OUTSIDE INFLUENCE FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE CANDIDATURE IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER WILL AMOUNT TO DISQUALIFICATION AND THE CANDIDATURE OF SUCH CANDIDATES WILL BE REJECTED.

1. For the post of Jr. Asstt. (FS), the Physical Measurement, Written Examination, Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test, Interview will be held at Guwahati.
2. For the post of Sr. Asstt. (TM), the Written Examination and Interview will be held at Guwahati.
3. Airports Authority of India will have full discretion to fix minimum qualifying marks and other eligibility criteria.
4. The decision of the selection committee is not liable for challenge and same shall stand final and binding on each candidate.
5. AAI reserve the right/has the discretion not to fill any vacancy and to change the vacancy position depending upon the requirement.
