The Airports Authority of India, invites applications for the under mentioned post:-

QUALIFICATION

Engineering degree in Electronics/Telecommunication /Radio Engg/Electrical/Masters Degree in Electronics OR equivalent, with First Class (60% or above).

AGE LIMIT (As on 01.06.2006) : Below 27 years

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection shall be made on the basis of a written test followed by Voice Test and interview, which the candidates will have to appear at their own expenses.

CONCESSIONS FOR SC/ST

a. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years

b. No application fee.

c. Candidates not working in Government / Autonomous Body / PSU will be paid second-class rail fare for interview only, by shortest route as per AAI rules.

CONCESSION FOR OBC

a. Upper age limit is relaxable by three years.

b. OBC certificates should be in proper format prescribed by Government of India for Government Services.

CONCESSION FOR J&K RESIDENTS

Upper Age limits is relaxable by five years to all candidates who had originally been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.

CONCESSION FOR EX-SERVICEMEN

As per Govt. rules i.e. total service + 5 years as age relaxation

The concessions are subject to enclosing attested copy of certificate as proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other categories from a Competent Authority in the format prescribed by Government of India, for appointment in Govt. Service.

GENERAL:

1. The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs.7500/- per month as stipend during training period and after successful completion of training, they will be placed in the regular pay scale.

2. Besides basic pay DA,CCA,HRA and other benefits such as Medical, LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, PF, etc. admissible as per AAI rules will be paid.

3. Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

4. Employees of Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should forward their applications through proper channel.

5. The written test will be held at the following centres:- Delhi/Mumbai/Kolkata /Chennai/Guwahati /Allahabad /Ahmedabad / Hyderabad/Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram. The number of centres can be reduced depending upon number of candidates and in that case the candidates will be adjusted in the nearest centre.

6. The eligibility with respect to qualification etc. will be determined as on 01.06.2006. The candidates who have appeared in the final degree exam before the last date of receipt of application can also apply however their candidature would be provisional subject to their fulfilling the prescribed qualification and furnishing the mark sheet/result before the written test.

Applications must be accompanied by Photostat copies of all documents and a crossed demand draft of Rs. 100/- (non refundable) in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at New Delhi. Envelope shall be marked with the post applied for. AAI shall not be responsible for any postal delay. Applications received after the last date and those without the attested copies of supporting documents shall be rejected without any further correspondence. Incomplete/incorrect/unsigned applications shall be rejected without any further correspondence. Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence will be treated as a disqualification
